Chapter XI
Chapter XI. Energy
Transurfing needs free energy, gained by widening channels, not hoarding. Stress comes from importance, and illness and ageing are pendulum scripts you leave through a sincere healing game.
In one paragraph
The author argues that Transurfing works only if you have plenty of "free energy", and that you get it by letting it flow through you, not by hoarding it. Stress and importance narrow the channels that carry this energy, so the cure for stress is lowering importance, not forced relaxation. Energy vampires and pendulums drain you when you are tense or unsure of yourself, and a visualized energy sphere plus a calm, aware mind keeps you out of their reach. The chapter then applies the same logic to health and ageing: illness and old age are treated as pendulum-driven scripts that you join by talking, worrying and consuming illness information. You step out of them by playing a sincere "healing game" and by caring for your health instead of fighting disease.
Key ideas
- A person needs good health and a strong energy field to practise Transurfing. Chronic sluggishness (hard mornings, afternoon dozing, evenings in front of the television) shows low energy, even if you think your health is fine. [0:00:14]
- There are two kinds of energy. Physiological energy comes from food and powers physical action. Free energy comes from the cosmos, passes through the body, and powers intention, motivation and creativity. [0:01:01]
- Free energy moves in two currents along the spine, one rising and one descending. How much you receive depends on how wide these central channels (meridians) are. [0:02:19]
- Muscle tension blocks the flow. Tension also spreads: one tense person can change the mood of a whole room, and the group will either relax him or tease him back to normal. [0:03:36]
- Stress is a consequence of importance. Muscle relaxation treats the symptom, and the tension returns until you reduce the importance behind it. [0:09:05]
- The practical fix for stress is to wake up in the moment, notice where meaning has been inflated, and drop it. The difficulty is remembering in time. [0:10:01]
- Energy vampires drain people who have already taken in energy, by matching their frequency. The author names three types: the stealthy intruder, the manipulator who works on guilt and doubt, and the aggressive provocateur. Pendulums, however, take most of your energy. [0:16:37]
- Do not try to store free energy. Only physiological energy can be stored. Free energy is unlimited and everywhere, so the task is to widen the channels and feel part of the whole. Hoarding is the inner-intention approach of pushing at the world. [0:31:19]
- More energy raises your influence on others without effort. People sense it and like you for it. Techniques for dominating others through energy contradict Transurfing's principle that you may choose but not force. [0:44:32]
- Outer intention is powered by free energy and needs heart and mind to agree. Your energy level sets its strength. [0:48:02]
- Ageing is described as the longest induced transition. The script is taught from childhood and reinforced by birthdays, small talk and personal experience. [0:50:43]
- You start the illness game by accepting symptoms and talking about them. You can instead play the healing game, which means active interest in cures and a healthy lifestyle, with humor and sincerity. A half-hearted version (self-coercion, as in dieting) works like the illness game. [0:55:53]
- Medical advertising, weather forecasts and illness conversations act as illness pendulums. You cut free by refusing the information and the game, then join the pendulum of a healthy lifestyle so you do not drift back. [1:01:13]
Terms
- Energy level — your ability to take in and use energy, not how much you hold in reserve. First appears [0:01:01]
- Physiological energy — energy from digestion; it is stored as calories and spent on physical action. First appears [0:01:01]
- Free energy — cosmic energy that passes through you; it cannot be stored and feeds intention. First appears [0:01:46]
- Central meridians — the two main energy channels along the spine, one carrying energy up and one down. Their width sets your energy. First appears [0:02:19]

- Importance — excess meaning attached to something; the author's stated root of stress. First appears [0:09:05]
- Energy of intention — free energy in its role of generating motivation and the drive to act. First appears [0:06:42]
- Energy vampire — a person who unconsciously feeds on other people's energy by tuning to their frequency. First appears [0:17:35]
- Aura / protective shield — the energy field around the body, which you can imagine as a sphere and strengthen by exercise. First appears [0:24:06]
- Energy fountains — the image of the two currents leaving the body at the top and bottom and meeting to form a sphere. First appears [0:27:39]
- Induced transition — here, ageing seen as a slow script you are pushed into by repeated confirmation. First appears [0:50:43]
- Illness game / healing game — two ways of responding to ill health: passive victim radiating at the pendulum's frequency, or active creator working toward health. First appears [0:55:53]
- Illness pendulums — destructive pendulums built around disease and its treatment, including medical institutions and advertising. First appears [1:01:13]
Practices
Dropping importance when stressed
- When you feel unease, stop and ask why, and where you have inflated the meaning. [0:10:01]
- Notice which pendulum has hooked your importance.
- Consciously let the attachment go. [0:11:47]
- If you cannot reduce importance, do not spend energy trying to relax. Let yourself worry. [0:12:38]
Skin-scan relaxation
- Without hurrying, scan the whole body with your inner eye and release any contraction. [0:14:12]
- Feel the entire surface of your skin at once, as if it were warming from inside, tingling, or sparkling.
- Do it casually but decisively, without forcing any particular sensation. [0:15:49]
- Repeat until it works almost instantly.
Energy fountains and protective sphere
- Stand relaxed. On the in-breath, imagine energy rising from the ground along the spine and out of the head. [0:25:44]
- On the out-breath, imagine energy descending from the sky through the head and spine into the ground. [0:26:44]
- Later, run both currents at once, without tying them to breathing.
- Let the rising current pour over you like a fountain, and the descending one pour under your feet. Join both into a sphere around you.
- Feel your skin and extend that feeling outward, like inflating a balloon. [0:27:39]
- If your head feels heavy, strengthen the descending current so the two meet halfway up the body. [0:38:07]
- Repeat several times during the day. Do not strain. [0:28:31]
Meridian attention during exercise
- During exertion, keep attention on the working muscles. [0:41:36]
- During release, move attention to the central meridians and hold the release for one or two seconds.
- For press-ups, picture pushing energy hard along the channels on the exertion phase. [0:43:07]
Affirmation for wider channels
- Run the energy fountains. [0:49:09]
- Repeat mentally that your channels are widening and your intention energy is increasing, as a process getting better each day.
- Keep importance and eagerness out of it. Focus on the process. [0:49:57]
Responding to illness
- Do not take early symptoms seriously. Turn away and forget them. [0:55:53]
- If they persist, take basic preventive measures.
- If you are ill, treat it, and see a doctor when the illness is developed. [0:54:45]
- Avoid illness conversations and illness information. Answer with humor. [1:09:02]
- Join the "healthy lifestyle" pendulum. [1:09:58]
Watch out for
- Meridian positions, the two currents, auras and energy vampires are asserted, not demonstrated. The author refers the reader to other literature. [0:02:48]
- The author says it is hard to tell whether physical toxicity or energy disturbance comes first. He still treats the energy side as the lever. [0:03:36]
- The chapter says importance is the cause of stress, and also that stress and body toxicity are what narrow the meridians. [0:35:50] Hold this chain (importance, tension, blocked channels, less intention) as the author's model, not settled fact.
- Stress is said to be capable of suddenly widening the meridians and producing extraordinary feats, but the author calls such cases rare and gives no example. [0:07:11]
- "If you feel drained after talking to someone, your energy was sucked" [0:20:50] cannot be disproved. Tiredness has many ordinary causes.
- The dog-and-"gypsy" example [0:21:46] is a stereotype offered as evidence for the energy-attraction idea.
- The ageing and illness section says how much of ageing is physiological "is impossible to say". [0:51:56] That leaves the induced-transition claim without a measurable share.
- The weather-forecast and drug-advertisement examples are interpretations of motive. The author reads them as pendulum behavior, not as an investigation. [1:04:37]
- He says common phrases such as "I am full of energy" mislead, because only physiological energy can be stored. Whether the free-energy/physiological split is more than a model is not shown. [0:31:19]
- Cleansing the body is named as a major way to widen the meridians in the summary, but the chapter gives little detail on how. [1:12:13]
- He explicitly says not to skip medical treatment. Do not read the healing-game passages as advice to avoid doctors. [0:54:45]
Review questions
Try each one cold, then open the answer.
- What are the two forms of energy, and which one powers intention?
Show answer
Physiological energy (from food, spent on physical action) and free energy (cosmic, passes through the body). Free energy powers intention. - Why does conscious muscle relaxation fail to relieve stress for long?
Show answer
Physical tension comes from psychological tension, so relaxing the muscles treats a symptom; the body tenses again until importance is reduced. - What does the author advise if importance cannot be lowered?
Show answer
Do not waste energy trying to relax. The author says to let go and worry freely. - Name the three vampire types and what each exploits.
Show answer
The stealthy intruder (intrusive, friendly-seeming, probes for a way in); the manipulator (exploits guilt and doubt); the provocateur (aggressive, aims to provoke a strong emotion). - Why does the author say you should not accumulate energy?
Show answer
Free energy cannot be stored and is unlimited. Hoarding it is the inner-intention approach of forcing the world, which is ineffective. Let it flow and feel part of the whole. - In the sphere exercise, what does it mean if your head feels heavy, and what do you do?
Show answer
It means the rising current is stronger than the descending one. Strengthen the descending current so they meet halfway up the body. - How does Transurfing frame ageing, and what keeps the script going?
Show answer
As the longest induced transition. Birthdays, small talk about declining health and personal experience keep confirming the script. - What separates the illness game from the healing game, and why is dieting by self-coercion a "tainted" version?
Show answer
The illness game is passive suffering and illness talk; the healing game is active, humorous interest in health. Dieting by self-coercion is tainted because you hate the result and force yourself, so the subconscious resists and the energy matches the illness game. - How do you cut ties with illness pendulums, and why must you replace them with something?
Show answer
Refuse their information and games, answer with humor, and stay away from illness talk. Then become an adherent of a healthy lifestyle, because people tend to join some pendulum and you will drift back otherwise.
Desk work
- Describe your last stressful moment. What did you treat as important, and what would change if you lowered its weight to a minimum?
- Do the skin-scan once and write what you noticed. Then note how long it took and whether you found yourself "trying".
- List three illness or ageing conversations you take part in regularly. What would you say instead?
- Where in your life do you play a tainted healing game (acting from duress, not conviction)? What would a sincere version look like?

Readiness check
Answer these without looking anything up.
- What are the two forms of energy, and which one feeds intention?
- Why does relaxing your muscles not remove stress, and what does he say removes it?
- If you cannot lower importance, what does he tell you to do, and why?
- Name the three vampire types and what each exploits.
- Why not store free energy, and what do you do instead?
- In the sphere exercise, what does a heavy head mean, and how do you fix it?
- Why does he call ageing an induced transition, and what keeps it going?
- How does the healing game differ from the illness game, and why is a coerced diet the illness game?
The next chapter assumes you hold one idea: energy is not a stock to hoard and push at the world with inner intention, because it flows through you when importance is low, so you approach people without force.
